Georgia to Host Various Events Co-Organized by Munich Security Conference
During today’s meeting, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Chairman Wolfgang Ischinger of the Munich Security Conference have agreed that, next year, Georgia will host a variety of events co-organized by the Munich Security Conference.
The parties will maintain active cooperation to make sure that the Munich Conference is a co-organizer and supporter of Georgia’s Defense and Security Conference and Georgia’s European Way.
Similarly, relevant work will launch to enable Georgia to host a meeting of the Munich Security Conference’s core group in 2019.
During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the importance of the work of the Munich Security Conference which, every year, brings together global political leaders and relevant experts to discuss challenges facing international security.
The Prime Minister also thanked Wolfgang Ischinger and the Munich Security Conference for co-organizing as part of the conference the first ever event dedicated specifically to Georgia.
