Thousands of Saakashvili's Supporters March in Kiev Call for Poroshenko to Quit

Mikheil Saakashvili may have been deported last week but he is definitely not forgotten in Ukraine. On Sunday, February 18th , thousands of his supporters marched through the streets of Kiev calling for the impeachment of Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian President.

Protestors were armed with banners portraying Poroshenko with a red line over his face, as tjey chanted "impeachment", "resignation", "Poroshenko is a thief".

Despite the Ministry of Internal Affairs claiming that only 3,000 people took part in the rally, journalists believe that the actual attendance figures were closer to 10,000.
