Georgia not included in Russia’s Counter Sanction

Georgia has not been counter sanctioned by Russia for joining the sanctions imposed by the EU against Russia concerning products manufactured in Crimea and Sevastopol.

According to Russian reports, Russia did not take measures against Georgia, as the Georgian portions of the sanctions were insignificant. Russian media reports that Russian Ministers’ Cabinet did not consider it necessary to take counter measures against Georgia because of the low level of trade between the two countries.
