Georgian Weaponry Goes on Display in National Museum

The National Museum of Georgia is hosting some interesting exhibitions where you can find various types of rare Georgian weapons collection.

One of the most interesting expositions named Georgian Weaponry is currently exhibited at the Simon Janashia National Museum of Georgia.

Visitors can enjoy seeing various types of arms from the 17 th and second half of the 20th century.  

People can also find the most widespread types of weapons made in Georgia.  Attention is given to traditional Georgian arms. More than 150 various new ethnographic items have been added to the exhibition as well.

There are: sabers, daggers, guns, pistols and a considerable part of the collection consist of offensive and defensive weapons. An important place is also given to memorial type imperial exhibits and a gun from around 18 th century, Tbilisi.
