Want to win some incredible prizes? Want to have fun and change the environment around you? Check out the Top 10 reasons why YOU should get involved:
1. Express yourself!
An ambitious person always tries to be better than they are and has lots of different ideas and individualism. The Niko Ketskhoveli Award gives students and teachers the chance to show off their talent as creators and thinkers, giving them the opportunity to make a difference.
2. Develop yourself!
Education and self-improvement is one of the main ideas behind the Niko Ketskhoveli Award. The Award is focused on raising awareness and the development of teenagers, recognizing that students need to develop themselves in many ways, both in school and out.
3. Care for your town/village/country!
Taking good care of your local environment is one step towards making a change in wider spaces and reaching bigger audiences. The Niko Ketskhoveli Award is focused on developing students within their local environment and giving them the chance to achieve greater success, seen and admired by the international community.
4. Win Prizes!
There are no losers with this award as it gives students and teachers an opportunity to win some great prizes as well as to get incredible experiences. In 2018, students and teachers went to educational courses in Slovenia and Austria and in 2017, winning schools were awarded with eco hubs- comfortable spaces for students to work in a better and healthier environment. Many organizations award schools with prizes but participating in the Niko Ketskhoveli Award already means that you are a winner!
5. Have Fun at the Camps!
One of the motivational sides of the Niko Ketskhoveli Award is its camps. Students unite in different camps, make new friends, make memories and enjoy life in a green space doing such fun activities as informational courses, hiking, and games. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, make connections and find solutions to problems together.
6. Be a part of contemporary processes!
Learning what is happening in the society and world around you is important and means you can make changes to make it a nicer place to live in. Don’t live in the past – see what is happening and think how you can make it better.
7. Meet the Mayor, Members of Parliament, Minister and different organizations!
The Parliament of Georgia and many other serious organizations are involved in the Niko Ketskhoveli Award. Students get the chance to discuss their projects with the Tbilisi Mayor, Members of Parliament and ministers. By talking about your ideas, you can make connections with people with whom you can develop your projects; then you can tell the world about it!
8. Be socially Responsibility!
Social Responsibility is not a difficult concept. It means being kind, caring about others and the world around you, wanting to develop and trying to improve. Students should be socially responsible and know how to express themselves. With the Niko Ketskhoveli Award, students start to question the world around them and start to think about their society in a different way, just as students do in Europe and the US.
9. Become a Leader!
It takes hard work to become a true leader. Students and teachers who have participated in the Niko Ketskhoveli Award worked a lot, thought a lot, and learned to become the best leaders. Why not make use of YOUR talents and ideas and get involved in events like the Niko Ketskhoveli Award to make your world a better place?
10. Protect the Environment!
The main theme of the Niko Ketskhoveli Award is protection of the environment. Many activities which give extra points to schools involve the environment. Explore, discover, learn, develop, teach others, make changes and protect you own environment. The Niko Ketskhoveli Award gives students a chance to be a part of an amazing event and make their dreams and ideas come true!
