Kazakh Cost of Living in Kazakhstan up to $79
In Kazakhstan, the subsistence minimum, calculated from the minimum norms of consumption of basic foodstuffs, in May 2018, was 26,468 Tenge ($79).
Compared to April, the indicator increased by 0.5%, since the beginning of the year - by 3.4%.
In the structure of the minimum, the share of expenditures for the purchase of meat and fish is 19.8%, dairy, fat and egg products - 15.3%, fruit and vegetables - 10.5%, bread and cereals - 7.3%, and sugar, tea and spices - 2.1%.
