Airbnb: Average Daily Prices in Georgia

According to Airbnb, the average daily price in Georgia for renting an Airbnb room amounted to $37 (equivalent to GEL 90) in June 2018.

The breakdown of average daily prices of Airbnb rooms in major cities of Georgia are as follows:

Batumi: $51 (GEL 125)

Tbilisi: $42 (GEL 103)

Poti: $41 (GEL 101)

Kutaisi: $24 (GEL 59)

Rustavi: $23 (GEL 57)

On the hotel industry side, the hotel price index surged to 8.6% in June 2018 compared to May 2018, according to PMCG Research on Average Hotel Prices in Georgia. The average daily price of a 3-star hotel room amounted to GEL 143, 4-star hotel – GEL 247 and 5-star hotel – GEL 403.
