Tbilisi to Host OSCE S.Caucasus Media Conference on Challenges Facing Journalism

On July 18-19, the OSCE will host the 15^th annual South Caucasus Media Conference in Tbilisi. The conference will take place in the Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel located in Rose Revolution Square. It will focus on Quality Journalism for Trustworthy and Credible Information, i.e. dealing with journalism and its current challenges.

Among other topics, the two-day conference will tackle the issue of changes in media, media consumption and revenues from grants, advertising, and crowdfunding, but will also look at the era of digitalization, fake news and journalism ethics.

Finally, the OSCE will analyze the evolution of the media freedom development since the last conference in 2017.
