7 Drug Dealers Detained

7 drug dealers were detained on 16 July in the village of Karajala in eastern Georgia and taken to Tbilisi, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

MIA reported that large quantities of buprenorphine and subutex pills have been seized, along with 18 packs of heroin - undisclosed in size. The police also seized firearms, other weapons, and multiple currencies worth $31,111 USD.

The MIA has not disclosed the identity of any of the detainees at this point in time.

If convicted, the perpetrators could face a sentence of 8 years to life in prison.
