Flood in Kakheti, Gori and Gardabani

Due to heavy rainfall, roads, houses and yards were flooded in Kakheti, Gori and Gardabani.

According to the Emergency Management Service, four villages near Sighnaghi and Lagodekhi have been flooded in Kakheti. Rescuers in Gori evacuated 3 families who were then transferred to a safe place. Houses and yards were flooded in village Krtsanisi, Gardabani, where rescuers evacuated 15 families who were affected by the natural disaster.

No injuries have been reported. The work of the Emergency Management Service is ongoing.
