One of the EU’s Most Wanted Men Finally Arrested

Florin Ghinea, also known as Ghenosu, was arrested on Tuesday not far from central London.

According to Europol, Ghinea is one of the most wanted man in the EU. He is suspected of being the head of a Romanian organized crime network.

Ghinea is wanted in Romania on allegations he ran a human trafficking for sexual exploitation set up in Ireland, Finland and Dubai. Additionally, he is charged with murder against criminal rivals, money laundering, and blackmailing.

Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA), said it has caught him after leaving a gym in Watford (United Kingdom), located to the northwest of London.

Now he has been arrested, Romanian authorities want him to be extradited to Romania. He will be kept in Police custody until the next hearing on September, 25.
