Airline Companies To Stop Flights To Iran

British Airways and Air France-KLM, two large international companies, have announced that they will stop offering flights to Iran next month.

They say that regarding the new US sanctions, the route is not commercially viable anymore. Indeed, the United States recently reintroduced economic pressures as a response to deter Iran from applying its nuclear deal, which caused a plummet in Iranian economic forecasts.

Iran is facing hard times. The value of the Iranian currency is decreasing while big companies like Total (energy), Allianz (insurance) Daimler (German leader of trucks and luxury cars) and PSA (car making) announced they will be leaving the country.
