Building Collapse, 3 Injured

One of three children injured as a result of the collapse of an old garage on the Gardabani highway in Tbilisi is a teenager who is now in a critical condition with brain damage.

The accident near apartment building 101 on the Gardaban highway occurred last night, where a building collapsed due to structural failure. One child is in a critical condition, the other two are in comparatively better states however, one of them needed surgery. The ages of the 3 children ranges between 8 and 15

An investigation is underway under article "Violation of safety rules in the management of mining, construction or other works," which is punishable by a fine or corrective labor for up to 2 years, or by imprisonment for up to 2 years.
