Georgia-Czech Business Forum Underway in Tbilisi
Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is hosting the Georgia-Czech Business Forum, organized by the Georgia and Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to the Trade Chamber, the establishment of communication between businesspersons of the two countries and deepening of economic and trade relations between Georgia and the Czech Republic is the purpose of the forum.
Bilateral meetings between representatives of Georgian and Czech companies is taking place within the framework of the business forum.
21 Czech companies from logistics, medical tourism and infrastructure sectors are represented at the forum.
President of Georgian Trade Chamber Nino Chikovani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Ekaterine Mikabadze and Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic Marta Novakova opened the forum on September 13.
According to Chikovani, it is the fourth Georgia-Czech business forum in the last two years.
“This forum creates a good platform to establish trade-economic relations between Georgian and Czech companies. As for the results of previous forums, as we know, negotiations have begun with 11 Czech companies,” she said, adding that the platform enables Georgian and Czech sectors to meet each-other and set future plans.
