DataFest Tbilisi 2018
The second annual DataFest Tbilisi will be held November 7-9. DataFest is an international data and communications event for experts working with data.
DataFest unites more than 500 journalists, civil society activists, marketing specialists, business professionals, government officials, data analysts, developers, and designers from Eastern and Central Europe, Central Asia and beyond.
Over the course of the three-day convention, participants will examine new trends and best practices in data journalism, data application in the policymaking process, data science, data visualization, data application for marketing and business, data and cyber security, and other topics.
The EU-funded Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility – Regional Actions project will fund the attendance of 25 civil society activists from the Eastern Neighborhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine). The sponsorship will cover travel costs, participation fees, and accommodation.
