Georgia Improves Position in Crime and Safety Index
Research portal Numbeo, the world’s largest database of user-contributed data about cities and countries worldwide, reports that Georgia improved its position in the crime and safety ranking in 2018.
In the ranking, Georgia took 5th place among 125 countries, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia.
The data reads that the crime index of the country is 20.35, and safety index – 79.65 points.
In addition, Tbilisi also improved its index and moved from 19th to 16th place this year. The crime index in Tbilisi is 19.81 and the safety index is 80.19 points.
“Numbeo provides current and timely information on world living conditions including cost of living, housing indicators, health care, traffic, security, crime and pollution,” the information released by the MIA reads.
