ISET Expects an Economic Growth of 6.3% in the Current Year

According to Imedinews, ISET has reviewed Georgia's economic growth forecasts for the third and fourth quarters of 2018. 

ISET expects a 7.2% surge in the Georgian economy in the third quarter (July-September), while it estimates a 6.5% rise in the fourth quarter. In terms of the annual figure, the research institute anticipates a 6.3% growth in the overall economy. 

The reasons behind ISET's positive outlook of the current year liebehind the recent GDP increase of 5.5%. Moreover, according to Forbes Georgia, improved domestic and external demands have improved the economic environment in the country.
