KPMG Becomes Independent Auditor for National Bank of Georgia

On 21 September, the Parliament of Georgia announced a competition among the biggest auditing firms, also known as the Big 4, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and KPMG. The winner was selected to be an independent auditor for implementation of the National Bank’s 2018-2019 report audit.

The Competition Commission, headed by the Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee Irakli Kovzanadze, examined the financial proposals of the contest participants and revealed KPMG to be the winner.
