Find Out How Often Georgians Spend Leisure Time at Cafes/Restaurants
In the past 12 years, the amount of time spent visiting cafes and restaurants for leisure purposes has increased, according to the IPM survey results spread by Imedinews.
The survey notes that 42% of respondents visit a cafe or a restaurant at least once a month. A person spends 1 hour, 50 minutes on average in a cafe or restaurant. Moreover, men tend to spend more time visiting cafes/restaurants than women.
According to the research, the younger age group (18-34) are the ones spending most of their time visiting such places. As people are younger, they are thought to have more time to spare and engage in leisure activities. As a result, this age group spends, on average, 32 days in such a way annually.
The amount of time spent on such activities has increased when compared to the trend of 2006. This could be explained by the fact that more cafes and restaurants are at a person’s disposal. Moreover, people have begun enjoying relative improvements in their economic situation, hence, have more money to spend in cafes or restaurants.
