Head of Finance Ministry Investigation Service Resign

Levan Gamkrelidze, Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, has resigned.

The Investigation Service announced that Gamkrelidze has stepped down for unspecified personal reasons.

Soso Ramishvili, Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, will serve as interim acting Head of the Investigation Service.

Gamkrelidze was appointed as the Head of the Investigation Service on June 9, 2017, and previously served as Deputy Head of Audit Department of the Revenue Service.
