Cartu Chairman Releases Statement on Bidzina’s Parks – They Are Going Public

"Recently, a lot of incorrect information on the arrangement of two dendrological parks initiated by Bidzina Ivanishvili has been spread through the media," said Nikoloz Chkhetiani, Chairman of the Board of the Cartu Foundation.

"It is also worth considering that, in some cases, politically motivated media outlets released the incorrect information on purpose. Due to the high public interest towards this topic,  we believe that it is necessary to inform society that the park near the village of Tsvermagala will be opened in spring 2019, and the opening of the Shekvetili Dendrological Park is planned for summer 2020."

Chkhetiani confirmed that upon opening, both parks will be open for public use.
