PMCG: Average Hotel Prices in September 2018

According to research conducted by PMCG, in September, compared to April 2018, price index for 3-5 star hotels in Tbilisi decreased by 6.4%, while for family type hotels the difference totaled to 5.7%.

In September, the average price of staying in 3-star hotels equalled GEL135. The highest average price is observed to be in Tbilisi (GEL153) and Samtskhe-Javakheti (GEL 151). The lowest average price is in Guria and Kvemo Kartli (GEL 74 and GEL 85 respectively).

The average price of 4-star hotels in September amounted to GEL 244. The highest average price is observed in Kakheti and Samtskhe-Javakheti (GEL 336 and GEL 269 respectively). The lowest prices was seen in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti (GEL 153) and Guria (GEL 180).

The average price of 5-star hotels was GEL 521 in September. The average price of standard 2-room number in Tbilisi is GEL 619, in GEL 400 in Kakheti, GEL 383 in Samtskhe-Javakheti and GEL 527 in Adjara.

In September, the average price of family hotels was GEL 70. Among these, the highest average is observed in Gvaria (GEL 122) and Kvemo Kartli (GEL 104), while the lowest price is in Shida Kartli (GEL 56) and Imereti (GEL 58).
