A new public campaign has been launched to paint Mziuri

Breathing Life and Color Back into Mziuri Park Three months on from June's fatal flash flooding, people are gathering to paint the destroyed Mziuri Park which used to be a popular place for recreation.

A new public campaign has been launched in social media to paint Mziuri and give it a new character.

During the campaign “New Mziuri” people of all ages or professions are welcome to take part.

Children and their parents, friends or family, all are welcome to Mziuri on September 26t at 15:00pm.

The special ingredients for the project are as follows: colored bubbles, chalk, soap bubbles and colored clothes.

The project is organized by New Mziuri. The event will conclude with a musical performance.
