3,641 Georgian Expats Voiced their Preference for the 2018 Elections

Georgian expats living abroad took part in the 2018 elections and gave voice to their preferred candidates. 

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC) data, a total of 3,641 votes were collected from abroad, among which 1,656 votes were given to Grigol Vashadze, followed by 989 votes for Salome Zurabishvili and 292 votes for Davit Bakradze. 

At this stage, the CEC has counted 99.5% of votes, according to which 38.6% of respondents voted for Salome Zourabichvili and 37.7% of Grigol Vashadze.
