Georgia’s Economy Grows by 4.9% in January-September

The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) says that in January-September 2018 Georgia’s economy grew by 4.9% and by 4% in the third quarter.

The estimated real gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in September 2018 was equal to 5.6%.

The estimated real growth, compared to the same period of the previous year, was posted in the following activities: Manufacturing, Financial Intermediation, Trade, Real Estate, Transport, Hotels and Restaurants.

The economic growth in Q1 and Q2 was more compared to Q3.
