Pavilion Showcasing Georgian Agri-Products Opens in Shanghai
Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, opened another Georgian pavilion within the framework of the International Import Expo International Exhibition in Shanghai, China.
The pavilion was opened following a three-year cooperation betwen the Georgian Foreign Trade Association (GFTA) and large Chinese company Greenland Holding Group.
Georgian agro-food products are displayed in the pavillion, with the aim of increasing product awareness in the Chinese market and leading to maximizing the export potential.
In Shanghai, Minister Davitashvili took part in the opening ceremony of International Import Exhibition together with the Georgian Prime Minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze, and other members of the Georgian government delegation.
The International Import Exhibition, which will be finished in Shanghai on November 10, will include more than 50 Georgian companies, ranging from wine and other agro-product suppliers. This will allow the Georgian companies to further the business environment and export opportunities in Georgia.
