New Opportunity for Mayors for Economic Growth
Mayors for Economic Growth (M4EG) is a European Union initiative that began operating in January 2017 in Eastern Partnership countries. Its overall goal is to support mayors and municipalities to be more active facilitators for economic growth and job creation at the local level. The EU hopes that the initiative will one day become a regional professional network that requires certain commitments from its members while offering expert and peer-to-peer support.
This week, the EU announced a new opportunity for staff exchange missions for acting members of the M4EG initiative.
The application deadline is January 30, 2019, submitted to info@m4eg.eu.
This exchange is designed to support M4EG members to implement their Local Economic Development Plans by sharing best practices and expertise from the EU and the Eastern Partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine).
More information on the terms and conditions for staff exchange activities is available here (in English). The template for expressions of interest can be found under this link.
