Black Friday Hits Shops in Georgia

23 November, shops in Georgia are offering huge discounts as part of the annual Black Friday shopping event.

Heralding from the US, Black Friday is held yearly in November when shops offer large reductions for one day. It is often the busiest shopping day of the year. Many retailers offer discounts of 50% or more. The tradition has reached Georgia and shops here are running Black Friday events, some of which will continue over the weekend.

Tbilisi Mall will run reductions until midnight, with some discounts continuing until Monday. There will also be activities for children, games and the opportunity to win prizes.

Black Friday is likely to be one of the largest shopping days of 2018.
