51% of Georgian Students Ready to be Employed on International Markets

According to a study conducted by IPM, half of the Georgian students perceive to have greater opportunities securing employment on the international market. 

Higher educational institutes are the most prestigious institutions to prepare students for the labor market in Georgia. The IPM study relates to the readiness of the students of higher education institutions to work and is based on the international study of the Eurostudent VI results in European countries.

Students of higher education institutions in Georgia are very optimistic about finding employment on the local labor market, despite the fact that unemployment is one of the main challenges for Georgia's economy, amounting to 13.9%.

Half of the students surveyed, who attend higher education institutions (51%), think that after the completion of the current curriculum, employment on the international market will be available to them. Their self-esteem in terms of willingness to work on the international market is higher than Austria (42%), French (39%) or Norwegian universities (24%).
