EUMM Hosts Medical Security Course in Georgia

The European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM) hosted a medical security course in its headquarters in Tbilisi this week, November 22-27.

The training course was part of the EU’s Civilian Common Security and Defence Policy missions, developed for the EUMM’s safety and security personnel by the Swedish Contingencies Agency.

The main goal of the course was to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to prevent and respond to medical emergencies in a safe, secure, timely and effective manner.

14 students from EUAM Ukraine, EUAM Iraq, EUCAP Somalia, EUPOL COPPS, EUCAP Niger, Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability (CPCC) and the host Mission, participated in the course.
