8 Million Visitors to Georgia in Jan-Nov 2018

According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, more than 8 million people visited Georgia in January-November 2018, an increase of 10.6% compared to the same period last year. 

Most international visitors were from the following countries: 1,341,127 (+ 23.8%) from Russia, 1,311,907 (9.8%) from Azerbaijan, 1,162,220 (0.3%) from Armenia and 1,031,147 (11.6%) from Turkey. Positive trend is maintained across the EU countries. Visitors from Estonia grew by 82%, Romania - 63%, Slovakia - 62%, Netherlands - 58%, Germany - 50%, Latvia - 47%, Czech Republic - 44%, France - 36% and United Kingdom - 32%. Visitors from Korea increased by 117%, China by 80%, Belarus by 43%, Israel by 33%, Kazakhstan by 24% and US by 24%.

In November 2018, 598,312 more international travelers visited Georgia compared to the same period of the previous year, a 6.4% increase.
