‘Alter Socks’ to Be Sold on Amazon.com

The socks of Georgian start-up company ‘Alter Socks’ will be sold on the Amazon website from 2019.

In a conversation with Business Media Georgia, the co-founder of the company Rezi Beselashvili stated that the colorful socks may already be purchased on the German Amazon. They are also exported on the international market to the following countries: Belarus, Azerbaijan, Spain, Iran, the USA and others.

Even though the company is not assimilated to the market globally, the founders believe in the potential of its development and ability to operate in different countries.

Amazon.com is a major electronic commerce and cloud computing platform, used worldwide. An offer to place ‘Alter Socks’ products on Amazon.com is major progress for the Georgian company. The given project is going to be implemented at the beginning of 2019.

‘Alter Socks’ was founded on March 29, 2016. The idea behind ‘Alter Socks’ is to bring more fun into people’s lives by offering them high-quality, colorful and funny socks.

Beselashvili also noted that on the German Amazon, the highest demand came for socks with occupation theme prints. However, the most popular pair of socks, especially among tourists, is the one with the print of traditional Georgian dish – Khinkali.
