Georgian Wine Export Increases by 11%

Data gathered by the National Wine Agency of Georgia reveals 78 mln bottles of wine (0.75 L each) to have been exported worldwide in January-November 2018. This amount is an 11% increase compared to the same period of 2017.

The 11-month-long indicator, as stated by the Agency, of the current year has already exceeded the total exports of 2017 - when the last 30 years of Georgia's record number of 76.7 million bottles of wine was exported. In January-November 2018, exports of wine amounted to $184.1 mln, a 19% growth in comparison with the same period last year.
