Georgia to Host First Int’l Saperavi Competition

With the support of the National Wine Agency, Association Georgian Wine will hold the first international Saperavi competition in Georgia on December 15-17.

The aim of the competition is to promote the growth of Georgian wine - Saperavi, along with other wines produced worldwide.

Competition samples will be examined by a jury comprising Georgian and foreign experts. The Jury Chairman is well-known British journalist and writer Andrew Jefford.

The competition is supported by the National Wine Agency and Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
