HUAWEI Revolutionizes Language Translation

HUAWEI has tried to simplify and correct the problem with the StorySign application built into Android. Apply your phone to the children's book and application. With the help of artificial intelligence, it translates words into gestures, which will be shown on the screen by the Avatar.
Specially designed animation-application not only helps children learn reading, but also teaches the parents sign language so that communication between parents and child can be simplified and adults are able to tell stories personally to their children. The application is free and it’s not necessary to have a HUAWEI phone to download it. Currently, the application can translate 10 languages into sign language, including European languages. At this stage, each language has only 1 book adapted. In the future, a great collection of fairy tales is on the creative agenda.
Most importantly, this isn’t the only or last news regarding the HUAWEI offering. The translation application has been made using the HUAWEI Mate20 and HUAWEI Mate20 Pro, in cooperation with Microsoft company. It enables consumers to get high-quality translation material without using the Internet. To determine the quality of the result, Microsoft uses the industry standard - BLEU – according to which the comparison of human and software translation is evaluated.
During internal testing, the translation of the entire page was not only accurate but also 3 times faster than the previous version of Microsoft Translator.
For example, when HUAWEI Mate20 Pro is available in India, the users will be able to translate Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bangla and Urdu. You will also have the opportunity to read the text in English and get the translation into Indian.
