Children and Youth National Center Presents Year in Review
The head of the "Children and Youth National Center," Giga Gabelaia, gave a presentation on Wednesday about the activities conducted by the Center in 2018 and discussed the development in the sectors of youth education, employment and professional development opportunities, healthy lifestyle, and supporting teenagers with special educational needs.
Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Natia Zedginidze also attended the presentation where she evaluated the activities of the center. She noted the importance of the center's projects within the framework of the state youth policy, which positively impacts the future generation's consciousness and self-perception. Finally, Zedginidze promised to support the Children and Youth National Center in implementing the planned programs.
During 2018, the Center held 15 educational trainings, seven large youth camps and "Youth Festival - 2018." More than 110,000 participants were involved in projects, including 500 young people employed by the youth camps.
