Co-op Market Organized in Bukia Park

The New Year Co-op Market has been launched in Bukia Park in Tbilisi, where the farmers had the opportunity to present their products. The event was initiated by the Agricultural Cooperatives Development Agency.

More than 30 agricultural cooperatives operating in different regions of Georgia have participated in the Market, organized for their support and promotion of the goods produced by them.

Honey, wine, tea, Georgian candy – Churckhela, dried fruit, fruit and cheese have been presented on the event.

It has been the second time of the organization of the New Year Co-op Market.

There are more than 1000 cooperatives currently operating in different spheres and producing variety of products. Agricultural cooperation encourages the intensification of the production of agrarian goods, and implementation of new technologies and standards, as a result ameliorating the economic strength of the rural population.
