Occupants Release Detained Georgian Man

Otar Samniashvili, a Georgian man with disabilities who was detained on Sunday by Russian occupants near the village of Khurvaleti, Shida Kartli region, near the occupation line, has been released.

The information was confirmed by the State Security Service of Georgia.

The European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) was also notified, as it was as soon as the 33-year-old man was detained for so called ‘illegal crossing of the border” on December 22.
