School Resource Officers Take Kids to the Movies

The Georgian Office of Resource Officers of Educational Institutions, "Mandaturi," took a group of school kids to the movies yesterday. As part of a charitable initiative to deepen open communication and friendliness between school resource officers and students, several officers accompanied the students to Amirani cinema in Tbilisi to watch the new Disney movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. 

"Participation in such activities is crucial. We want our officers to participate in the proper care of children," said Mandaturi.

In the face of new regulations enacted after the Khorava Street murders, the Resource Officers, are responsible for protecting public order and providing a secure and healthy environment. It should also be noted that officers are directly involved in the planning and implementation of educational campaigns and crime preventive measures in schools.
