A Number of Patients Hospitalized as a Result of Misuse of Pyrotechnics

11 patients in Western Imereti and 5 patients in the region of Gori were hospitalized with a number of injuries resulting form the misuse of pyrotechnics from New Year’s Eve to 2^nd of January. There are children among them.

The ‘victims’ of pyrotechnics had injuries and burns. All of them received first aid and medical treatment in hospitals.

The government is being encouraged to restrict the selling and purchasing of pyrotechnics. The parents of minors are also asked to control their children in order to avoid other precedents of this case.
