Certain Georgian Citizens to Be Exempt from Administrative Fines

The administrative monetary penalties of socially vulnerable citizens, pensioners, war and armed forces veterans, people with disabilities, single parents and their families, of a total value of GEL 22 million, are to be abolished.

Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated that those who committed administrative offenses prior to January 15, 2019, will be eligible for exemption from administrative fines.

The draft law was submitted by the First Deputy Minister of Justice Mikheil Sarjveladze and the Government of Georgia approved it.

The draft law will be submitted to Parliament for consideration.
