Swiss Chocolate Producer Camille Bloch to Benefit on Georgian Market
The World Economic Forum, taking place in Davos, Switzerland on January 22-25, has had important outcomes for Georgia, as a number of fruitful meetings have been held between the Georgian Prime Minister and international officials and representatives of the business sector.
The initiative to expose the Swiss chocolate producer Camille Bloch on the Georgian market has been announced as a result of negotiations between the Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtasze and Chief Executive Officer of Camille Bloch Daniel Bloch. Georgia will be the first destination of the company’s foreign investment.
The company intends to acquire land to produce hazelnuts in Georgia and use Georgian-made ingredients for its renowned trademark chocolate labeled 'Ragusa'.
The CEO of Camille Bloch SA is confident in the success of the project and hopes that its implementation will commence in the near future.
The first product of Camille Bloch was presented to customers several decades ago. The company has a track record of 80 years with the production capacity of 3700 tons a year, one quarter of which gets exported.
