10 Packages of Heroin Seized in Kvemo Kartli Arrest

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is reporting that police officers have seized a large amount of heroin in an undisclosed location of the Kvemo Kartli region of Georgia, in the south east of the country. 

On January 27, officers of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs charged a local 50-year-old man with posession and illegal purchase of heroin as a result of a long term investigation. 

If convicted, the man could face a prison sentence of 8 years to life. 10 packages of heroin were seized during the arrest.
