The figures are 5 times higher than the same period in 2018, representing the huge popularity of increase of Georgia as a tourist destination.
Georgia is becoming more and more popular every year. In 2018, tourism generated approximately $3.2 billion compared to $2.7 billion in 2017.
To match the increase in visitors, the government is developing the infrastructure of popular areas.
