Georgia Among 19 Destinations to Visit in 2019

Travel journal Contemporary Class has included Georgia in the list of 19 Destinations to Visit in 2019.

In the list, Georgia is among such countries as Japan, Uzbekistan, the Maldives, the Azores, Iran, Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Germany, Hong Kong, Panama, Qatar, Denmark, Colombia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Puerto Rico, Ethiopia and Canada.

The article reads that there’s never a bad time to visit Georgia, but 2019 is looking an especially good year.

“Tbilisi’s effortlessly cool Hotel Stamba will be unveiling its glass-bottomed rooftop swimming pool, suspended above a five-story atrium, and the award-winning Rooms brand -a member of Design Hotels -will be opening a new ski hotel at Bakuriani,” the article reads.

The author advises tourists to plan a trip to Georgia to coincide with one of this year’s big events: Tbilisi Fashion Week is in April and October, the Black Sea Jazz Festival is in July.

“In October you can join the Driving with Zoe classic car rally driving across the Caucasus from Batumi to Baku,” the article reads.
