Venezuela’s Guaido Thanks Georgian Ambassador for Support
Interim President of Venezuela Juan Guaido met with Georgian Ambassador to Brazil David Solomonia, on the sidelines of the 11th foreign ministerial of the Lima Group composed of 14 countries in Bogota yesterday, assembled to find solutions to the political and economic crisis in Venezuela.
Guaido thanked the Georgian government for its support in the fight of the Venezuelan people for freedom and democracy.
Georgia’s Foreign Ministry reports that Guaido noted the existing humanitarian crisis in Venezuela will end soon with the support of the international community.
He also expressed hope that the political crises created by Maduro’s regime will be defeated through the democratic transition of power.
The latest meeting in Bogota came amid the severe humanitarian crisis in the country as Maduro’s illegitimate government, which came to power after the fabrication of elections.
