UK Bridge International Education Fair to Be Held on March 2

The UK Bridge education agency was established in 2008 by Nutsa Kuridze and Anka Vetsko. The company has for 10 years been helping those who aspire to continue studies abroad to choose the most suitable language courses, summer schools, undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Three years after the launch of UK Bridge, Kuridze and Vetsko established the first International Education Fair in Georgia. World-renowned educational institutions, including the University of St. Andrews, Kings College London, Naba & Domus Academy, Anglo-American University, Toulouse Business School and many others, travel to Georgia once a year to deliver information about their study programs to potential clientele.

The 9th education fair organized by UK Bridge will take place on March 2, in Rooms Hotel Tbilisi. From noon to 6 PM, summer schools, English language courses and universities will present their programs to guests and provide all accurate information about them.

“Nearly 20 universities and 10 schools will participate in the International Education Fair this year. The Film School from the UK will be the highlight of the event, as it is the first time the representatives of this institution have come to Georgia to take part in our fair,” says Kuridze.

Prior to the Education Fair, UK Bridge organized Education Days throughout Tbilisi. Vere Loft hosted a training for English language teachers headed by the Wimbledon School of English, within the scope of which they had an opportunity to obtain knowledge regarding innovative methodology in teaching. The London Central Film School ran a workshop named ‘Filmmaking’ at the Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film Georgian State University. The tutors of the NABA/Domus Academy presented innovations in interior design to the audience while representatives of the Instituto Marangoni spoke about fashion design.

Within the framework of Education Days, on February 28 and March 1, it was also possible to attend trainings regarding in the technique for producing an accurate personal statement, all the skills needed for university interviews and the admission requirements of American universities.

“The International Education Fair is attended by more than 500 people each year, with the number of the participants higher each time,” Kuridze notes.

A lucky winner will be revealed at the International Education Fair who will be fully financed to take a two-week language course at the University of Cambridge in summer. Only those who bring five more students to UK Bridge will be eligible to participate in the contest.
