Patriarchate Offers Condolences to New Zealand

On March 23, the Patriarchate of Georgia released a statement expressing sorrow over the recent terror attack in New Zealand.

“We express our greatest sorrow and horror over the attack in New Zealand’s mosque and we offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims, to the people of New Zealand and their government, to all the Muslims and everyone who condemns violence and extremism. We condemn terrorism of any kind and are praying for peace, so that no similar misfortune can ever take place again,” reads the published statement of the Patriarchate of Georgia.
