Undeclared Gold Found at Red Bridge CCP

On March 22, on the basis of suspicion, after the examination of the citizen of Azerbaijan A.K. with the x-ray scanner, the customs officers of the Revenue Service of Ministry of Finance of Georgia found 134.7 gr of undeclared golden items, with a total value of 8,647.84 GEL at the Red Bridge Customs Crossing Point (CCP).

In accordance with Section 10 of Article 289 of the Tax Code of Georgia, the offender received a fine of 8,647.84 GEL.
