Caucasus Nature Fund to Spend €870,000 on National Parks

On April 3, the Caucasus Nature Fund has pledged to spend €870,000 on 3 Georgian National Parks from 2019 to 2021.

The money will be used in Borjomi-Kharagauli, Mtirala and Pshav-Khevsureti parks to develop park infrastructure, surveillance and monitoring of the protected areas. It will also be used to provide rangers with food as well as a better wage.

The Caucasus Nature Fund provides funding and support for nature conservation in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. They have been working to support protected areas in the region since 2008.
